Students can borrow a campus bicycle for up to four hours at no charge. A refundable deposit is required when they first register. Bicycles must be returned to the same station from which they were collected. During a pilot, the organisers allowed returns at any station, but bicycles accumulated near the cafeteria. The current rule was introduced to prevent this imbalance. Students who need a bicycle overnight can use a separate paid rental service. The scheme does not provide helmets, though riders are encouraged to bring their own.
