A company tested a flexible working arrangement with its design team. Employees could work from home two days each week, but attended the office together on Wednesdays. Managers compared completed projects before and during the trial. Output remained similar, while employees reported shorter commuting times. However, the trial involved only one team whose tasks were mainly digital. The report warns that the results may not apply to staff who operate physical equipment. It recommends consulting each department before expanding the arrangement, rather than introducing a single rule for the entire company.

এক প্রতিষ্ঠানের ডিজাইন দল সপ্তাহে দুই দিন বাসা থেকে কাজের সুযোগ পায়, বুধবার সবাই অফিসে। আগে ও পরীক্ষার সময়ে শেষ হওয়া প্রকল্প তুলনায় কাজের পরিমাণ প্রায় একই; যাতায়াত কমেছে বলে কর্মীরা জানান। তবে একটিমাত্র মূলত ডিজিটাল কাজের দল ছিল। যন্ত্র চালানো কর্মীদের ক্ষেত্রে ফল নাও মিলতে পারে। সবার জন্য এক নিয়মের বদলে বিভাগভিত্তিক আলোচনা করতে বলা হয়।
